Global corporate investment business Conway Inc. is growing in Gwinnett County with plans to add 50 workers this year, company officials announced in partnership with state and local economic development leaders on Friday.
That figure includes 15 new positions the company said it has created at its Peachtree Corners facility. It plans to add 35 more workers by the end of the year.
“The ability of the workforce and quality of life are why we chose Gwinnett,” Conway President Adam Jones-Kelly said in a statement. “Ensuring that you are in the right location is critical for the success of any corporate expansion project.”
It is the parent company of the Industrial Asset Management Council and publishes the corporate real estate and foreign direct investment publication, Site Selection Magazine.
The company did not specify what the new positions it is adding will do, but local officials were ecstatic about the news. County commission Chairwoman Charlotte Nash, Peachtree Corners Mayor Mike Mason and Gwinnett Chamber Director of Economic Development Andrew Carnes said in a statement that it illustrates the county’s draw for businesses.
“Once businesses come to Gwinnett County, they stay in Gwinnett County,” Nash said in a statement. “Conway is a leader in its industry and we’re very pleased to have them in our community.”
Mason said, ““One of the great things about Gwinnett is how it attracts diverse companies as a place where they can invest and grow.”
