PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Almost 29 years after it first opened its doors and more than six months after it was closed for a complete rebuild, the Peachtree Corners Chick-fil-A restaurant at 6105 Peachtree Parkway will reopen with the chain’s newest design on June 6.

The reopening of the restaurant comes as franchise owner Wayne Farr celebrates nearly five decades with Chick-fil-A. He and his team look forward to welcoming their returning guests to the restaurant which features a vintage heritage interior design and the chain’s latest kitchen, dining room and drive-thru innovations.

Guests will appreciate the larger tables in a dining room featuring premium finishes including subway tile and large windows, as well as a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood and a custom light fixture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles. Other highlights include an updated restroom facilities and free Wi-Fi. Customers on the go will find a drive-thru system featuring expanded face-to-face ordering, covered canopies and an additional lane, enhancing the chain’s award-winning drive-thru service. The expanded features of the new restaurant will provide an even more remarkable experience with the return of nearly 50 Team Members and an additional 50 Team Members hired to reach his goal of 100.

Chick-fil-A has been a part of Farr’s life even before the chain’s founding in 1967. Farr has been fortunate enough to call the Cathy’s family friends since his childhood, having spent many years with S. Truett Cathy as his Sunday School teacher and later working alongside Dan Cathy and Jimmy Collins to open some of the first Chick-fil-A locations in Georgia.

Farr became an Operator nearly 47 years ago in December of 1972 where he opened the North Dekalb Mall location and is considered one the most tenured operators in the chain. Farr and his wife, Linda, and their two children have planted deep roots into the Norcross community which they have called home for more than two decades. Farr started a tradition of Chick-fil-A service in his family, with his son, Andrew, also becoming an Operator in metro Atlanta.

Farr, who has been serving as the Operator for the Peachtree Corners Chick-fil-A for more than 24 years, also operates the Rivermont Station Chick-fil-A in Alpharetta.
